Sweet 16 and having a PARTY!

I sometimes think it is more fun planning other peoples parties than one of my own - when you are trying to please someone you love - everything is so important. This weekend I was reminded of this when we threw a sweet sixteen party for our oldest daughter. She wanted something elegant (remember our kids can have a bouncehouse or waterslide any old time!) so she decided to have just a few of her closest girlfriends get together for dinner and a night on the town. They started the festivities at a local park for pictures (that was awesome and the girls had so much fun at the photoshoot!) I took them from there to a restarurant where I had already arranged a special menu (so we didn't break the bank) and they were there for 1.5 hours to eat, mingle and have cake and presents. From there a limo picked them up and they had three hours on the town- they had a BLAST! Some little things that made the night more special - she had a color theme that we kept to for all the decorating (in the house, banners, flowers, favors, etc) and special snacks (we thought of all the girls favorites) in the limo. The whole night was about $500 including EVERYTHING. Consider your friends when planning cakes, photography, etc. She had some lovely invitations - and we printed them ourselves! There are ways that you can cut corners without sacrificing style - just use your imagination...and remember www.partyjumpersinc.com when you plan your next party!
