Neighborhood Party! Backyard Bash!

Booked an awesome waterslide this morning for a "Neighborhood Get Together" - I love this idea! Everyone got together - pitched in and are having a wonderful party this weekend!  I love my neighbors - so this idea is the bomb.  Doing a little research on one for our own neighborhood! Wouldn't it be AWESOME if everytime a new neighbor moved in you had a "Welcome Party"?
Dunk Tank & Obstacle Course

I've made up a Pinterest Board if you are a visual person - or try some of these ideas!

I was SURPRISED to see how INVOLVED online suggestions were in planning a block party!  It's not that complicated!  First...

*get a couple of neighbors to help you plan! V.P. of Invites - of Food - Of Entertainment!
*set a date/location/time - and theme if you want to get that involved - how about a movie night?  Don't    make it too complicated - it will scare people away! (If I have to bake cookies - I'm OUT!)
*Do you need a permit (ewwww!) but you might - especially if you are having it on the street!
*Invites - The cutest (and cheapest ones I saw on Pinterest where printed on paper plates!) Get creative!
*Food/Entertainment - Cookout? Pot Luck? Games? Inflatables?
*Consider printing fun name tags for everyone!
*Think about the age ranges - you will want to make everyone feel welcome!
*Maybe invite the local ice cream truck? Think about who in your neighborhood might own a company that can get involved (how awkward would it be to order pizza of Dominos when three doors down they own "Frankie's Pizza"!
Carnival Games

Foam Parties are fun for all ages!
